Detailed temperature measurement: 

1. Aim the thermometer sensor at the center of the patient’s forehead. Move the thermometer closer to the forehead, no further than 5 cm, without touching the forehead.

2. Press the ON button. The thermometer tests its functions, measures the temperature and the measurement result is displayed on the LCD screen within 2 seconds.

3. The result will be highlighted in one of three colors:

• Green – normal temperature (35.5 ~ 37.3 ° C)

• Orange – elevated temperature (37.4 ~ 38 ° C / 99.3 ~ 100.4) ° F)

• Red – fever (38.1 ~ 43 ° C / 100.6 ~ 109.4 ° F) if the distance from the forehead is more than 5 cm, “0-5” will be displayed on the screen.

System Settings:

1.When the thermometer is powered on, press and hold “SET” to enter the setting mode.

F1 – change measuring unit: in “F1” mode, press “MODE” or “MEMO” to switch between ℉ and ℃. Press “SET” to confirm and enter “F2”.

F2 – change alert threshold: press “MODE” or “MEMO” to change the alert threshold by 0.1 ℃ (depending on which unit you are using). Press “SET” to confirm and enter “F3”.

F3 – turn sound on/off: press “MODE” or “MEMO” to turn the sound on or off. Press “SET” to confirm.
